Objectives

The main objective of this project is:

a)      To make the vehicle more safely and fully protected from be stolen.

b)      To upgrade conventional key with new system.

c)      To avoid the problem such as missing, broken and duplicate key.

Benefits/Contributions

Based on the objectives above, the project development will propose a new security system which can be commercial in our local and international market. The devices will follow the current trend which needs high technology devices. The situation will guarantee that the devices can be commercialized as part of vehicle accessory. There for we can produce a new device which is affordable and reliable to be commercialized. The primary contributions of this project are:

1.      Dual mode security

Thumbprint system is installed on vehicle that also have key as starter. The data on thumbprint system not allow unauthorized person to start the engine.

2.      New application

Thumbprint system already use at many application. By using thumbprint system at vehicle, it looks more intelligent and secure.

3.      Live thumbprint identification

The systems only recognize the live thumbprint for start the engine. Copy of thumbprint like use a piece of plastic that have owner thumbprint will be detected and the engine cannot be start.
